The Romanian Air Force military plane, AN 26 type, accomplished a humanitarian mission by transporting a 3 years old little girl, in the night of February 5, 2010.
The patient, in a severe condition, with burns on 70 percentage of body was transported from Timisoara to Bucharest with the assistance of SMURD team from Oradea.
The mission was approved by the National Defence Minister, Gabriel Oprea, upon request of Mr. Raed Arafat, Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Health.
The commander of the team in mission was Lieutenant Commander Laurentiu Codreanu from the 90th Air Transport Base.
