The State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning, Mr. Viorel Oancea, heads the MoND delegation that will participate in the EU Defence Ministers Informal Reunion on February 24 and 25.
The topics on the agenda of the Palma de Mallorca reunion organized by the Spanish presidency of the EU Council will focus on the EU response to crises; the EU military operations conducted under PSAC aegis; the contribution of third party states to PSAC; the increase of military capability of the EU; implications resulting from the Lisbon Treaty for state agencies and the main EU partnerships in the international security context.
