Second Lieutenant post mortem Florin Badiceanu killed on duty while in mission in Afghanistan will be repatriated onboard of a military aircraft of the Romanian Air Force on February 25, at about 4 p.m., on Craiova airport.
The Minister of National Defence Gabriel Oprea and the chief of General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin will participate in the military and religious ceremonies to be held on the airport. The National Defence Minister's Order will be read concerning Florin Badiceanu's promotion to the rank of Second Lieutenant post mortem.
As a token of appreciation and respect for Florin Badiceanu's outstanding courage in mission, the National Order "Steaua Romaniei"(Star of Romania) in rank of Knight, for soldiers, with sign of war, will be awarded post mortem, as provided by the Presidential Decree.
The funerals will be held on February 28 at 12 hours, in Valea Marului, Arges County.
