The ceremony for mission handing over/taking over between Detachments ROFND XIX and ROFND XX was organized in Camp Villagio in Kosovo, on Friday, March 5, 2010.
The ceremony was attended by COL Vicenzo GRASSO, commander MNBG-West, by representatives of the Italian, Hungarian, Slovenian aa well as other Romanian detachments deployed in Kosovo.
COL Vicenzo GRASSO thanked the troops of the Romanian Detachment ROFND XIX for the way they accomplished their mission, for their professionalism and excellent cooperation with the Italian soldiers and wished the new detachment good luck in their new mission.
Detachment ROFND XX, consisting of troops of the 60th Paratroopers Battalion in Buzau, will conduct missions within KFOR side by side with Italian, Hungarian and Slovenian troops.
