The official opening of the 3rd Edition of the 'Black Sea Defense & Aerospace 2010' (BSDA 2010) takes place on Tuesday, April 13, at 10.00 hrs. at ROMAERO.

The opening ceremony will be attended by the Department for Armaments, Brig. Gen. Eng. Catalin Moraru, other representatives of the Ministry of National Defence, public institutions with responsibilities in the field, private companies in the defence industry, economic agencies.

At this year’s edition of BSDA, the defence ministry will participate with military equipments while the Research Agency in Military Equipments and Technologies and the Technical Military Academy subordinated and coordinated by the Department for Armaments will present some results in scientific research that resulted in prototypes and devices. The solutions and results presented here were created to reach the interoperability standards for complex weapon systems.

As part of the important international events in the field of defence equipment and technology, BSDA 2010 will bring together over 200 companies of 17 participating nations.

'Black Sea Defense & Aerospace 2010' aims at identifying cooperation opportunities and solutions both in production and business, while contributing to the international promotion of Romanian defence industry. This should also be an opportunity to open this industry to the international markets through cooperation with famous companies and producers in the field in order to achieve the intended interoperability of domestic military equipment with that of NATO and EU member states.

BSDA 2010 will be open for the public as follows:
Tuesday, April 13: 12.00 – 17.00
Wednesday, April 14: 10.00 - 17.00
Thursday, April 15: 10.00 - 15.00.
