The Chief of General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin heads a military delegation during an official visit in Japan from April 12 to 14, at the invitation of General Oriki Ryoichi, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Japanese Armed Forces.

The official talks were held on Monday, April 12, when bilateral military cooperation and ways of intensifying it were discussed.

The programme of the visit includes meetings with high officials in the defence ministry and the Chief of the Japanese Navy Forces and a visit at the Infantry, Artillery and Armoured Vehicles School "Fuji".
