Mr.Mihail Vasile-Ozunu, State Secretary for Parliament Relations, Public Information and Welfare of Personnel in the Ministry of National Defence met a Parliamentary delegation from Bosnia and Hezegovina headed by Mr. Branko Zrno, on April 15.

The foreign delegation was introduced in aspects concerning Romanian military experience within PfP, legal harmonization, the way the defence ministry liaises with Defence, Public Order and National Security Commissions in the Romanian Parliament.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Vasile-Ozunu said he valued such meetings all the more so as Bosnia and Herzegovina can use Romanian experience both in joining NATO and EU and inter-institutional liaison.

"Bosnia-Herzegovina is a state willing to join European values and Euro Atlantic security structures. Romania, on the other hand, is interested in the stability and security of the Western Balkans which could only be achieved by integrating all states in the region in NATO and the EU. It is a difficult process which we have already gone through and we are happy to be able to pass on some of the acquired experience. We endorse the process by the very presence of our troops in EU-led EUFOR mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina", State Secretary Vasile-Ozunu stated.
