The Information and Public Relations Directorate in the Ministry of National Defence organizes, with the support of the Land Forces Staff, the 7th edition of the \"Basic Course for Journalists Reporting from Conflict Areas\" from June 21 to 25.

The course will be conducted in Focsani garrison and will focus, in both theory and practice, on increasing awareness of risk factors in conflict areas, on the different kinds of weapons, ammunition and antipersonnel mines, on NBC protection and first aid measures. The participants will get familiarized with the rules governing media relations in a theater of operations and survival techniques in special conditions.

In order to ensure the effectiveness of training, the number of journalists, reporters, cameramen and photographers participating in this edition will be limited to 14.
