Lieutenant Liviu Antim, one of the soldiers killed in the air accident of July 5 on Tuzla airdrome, died last night. After first aid procedures had been applied, he was immediately taken to the Military Hospital (SUUMC). Despite doctor’s efforts he could not be saved.

Four Air Force and eight Navy Forces troops died as a result of the air accident on Tuzla airdrome of July 5. Col. (AF) Nicolae Jianu was 49, was married and had two children.

Lieutenant-colonel (AF) Catalin Vicentiu Antoche was 34, was married and had one child.
Lieutenant Lavinia Guita was 26 and she was not married.
WO 1st Class Razvan Ranghet was 43, was married and had two children.
Lieutenant Liviu Antim was 27 and he was not married.
WO 2nd Class Florin Claudiu Cismasu was 34, married and had two children.
WO 2nd Catalin Radoi was 36, was married and had one child.
WO 3rd Class Badut Papuc was 29 and not married.
Corporal Constantin Vladut Sarman was 26 and not married
Corporal Marius Catalin Chioveanu was 22 and not married.
Corporal Cosmin Furtuna was 28 and not married.
Private Cosmin Florescu was 25 and not married.

The two injured troops, Capt. Daniel Balsanu and WO 4th Class Marius Nazare, are stable but stay in hospital for further investigations and treatment.
The defence minister and the chief of General Staff are permanently updated on the evolution of the two patients and are sympathetic to the grieving families.
