Defence Minister Gabriel Oprea and the Chief of General Staff Admiral Gheorghe Marin, visited Capt. Daniel Balsanu and WO Marius Nazare, the two injured soldiers in the air accident at Tuzla airdrome, at the hospital, on Tuesday evening, July 6.

Minister Oprea and Admiral Marin talked with the two men and the doctors treating them. They wished the two soldiers speedy recovery.

Capt. Daniel Balsanu suffered minor contusions while WO Marius Nazare had burns on ten percent of his body. They are in a good and stable condition at present.

Capt. Daniel Balsanu and WO Marius Nazare were injured while other 12 soldiers, from the Air Force and the Navy Forces, died in an air accident on Monday, July 5, when an AN-2 aircraft of the 'Aurel Vlaicu' Air Force School in Boboc crashed on Tuzla airdrome. A technical committee established by order of the defence minister is investigating the circumstances that led to this tragic accident.
