A delegation of the Ministry of National Defence headed by State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning, Mr. Viorel Oancea, participates in the Informal Reunion of EU Defence Ministers on September 23 and 24. The activity is organized by the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council to take place in Gent.

The officials participating in this forum take into discussion important themes of the development process of the EU Common Security and Defence Policy, among which cooperation in developing defence capabilities, EU crisis management operations, EU cooperation with NATO and other partners in crisis management and development of capabilities necessary in the field.
