The Day of the Open Gates is organized at the Military Astronomy Observatory on Tuesday, October 12, from 09.30 to 14.00hrs., in celebration of 115 years of existence.

Beside the staff of the Observatory and the Military Topographic Directorate, the event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of National Defence, active duty and reserve military personnel whose activity was related to the Observatory.

A visit will be made to the museum of old maps and topographic-geodesic equipment.
