The Day of the Romanian Armed Forces will be celebrated on Monday, October 25th. The national flag will be hoisted in all military institutions while military ships will be dressed fully. Military and commemorative ceremonies will be organized in all garrisons at home and in the countries where Romania has defence attaches or deployed troops. In all said locations the order of the Minister of National Defence Gabriel Oprea, issued for the occasion, will be read.

Military ceremonies will be organized in Bucharest at the World War 2 Heroes’ Memorial located in front of the 'Carol I' National Defence University, at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior in Carol Park, at the Memorial of Romanian heroes killed in action located in front of the Children’s National Palace in Tineretului Park.

The defence minister will participate in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Memorial of Romanian heroes killed in action.
The troops of the 30th 'Mihai Viteazul' Guard Regiment will retreat with torches on a route from the Palace of the National Military Circle - Regina Elisabeta Boulevard – Opera Square - Leu Square - General Vasile Milea Boulevard on Monday, October 25, from 18.00 hrs.

A wreath-laying ceremony will be organized at the Memorial Ensemble in Carei, at 11.00 o’clock, on Monday, October 25.

A military ceremony will be organized at the Monument of the Romanian Soldier, in Avram Iancu Square in Cluj-Napoca, at 12.30, on Sunday, October 24. A delegation of the 4th GEMINA Infantry Division will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the graves of Romanian soldiers in Rakoskeresztur Cemetery in Budapest, on October 25.

A military ceremony will be organized at the Heroes’ Cemetery in Sprenghi, Brasov, on Monday, October 25.

The military ceremony in celebration of the Romanian Armed Forces’ Day organized in Timisoara at the Monument of the Romanian Soldier in the Central Park will begin at 12.00 o’clock, on Monday, October 25.
Military ceremonies will be organized in Iasi as well, at the World War 2 Heroes’ Memorial and the Monument of the Heroic 1st Lieutenant Bogdan Valerian HANCU at 09.00 hrs., on Monday October 25.

The troops in Constanta will be present at the military ceremonies organized at the World War 1 and 2 Heroes’ Memorial, at 10.00 hrs., On Monday October 25.

Military services staffs, commands, large units and units across the country organize the Day of Open Gates, cultural and sports activities, symposiums, meetings with war veterans, exhibitions, film galas and shows.

The National Office for Heroes’ Memory (NOHM) organizes on October 24 and 25, the Commemorative March in honor of the Romanian soldiers who died on the Czechoslovakian front. The march will be led by the NOHM director while the participants will be troops of the 30th 'Mihai Viteazul' Guard Regiment and students of the Military High School Dimitrie Cantemir' in Breaza; the event will be attended by representatives of the National Veteran Association. The commemorative events will be organized at the Honorary Cemetery of Romanian Heroes in Zvolen, Slovakia on October 24, at the Honorary Cemetery of Romanian Heroes in Brno, Czech Republic on October 25.

Romanian defence attaches will organize abroad exhibitions of military books, publications and photography, wreath-laying ceremonies at cemeteries and monuments for Romanian soldiers.

Romanian troops in the theaters of operations will celebrate the Day of the Armed Forces by organizing military ceremonies, cultural and sports activities that will be attended by guests and partners of the multinational coalitions.
