The Minister of National Defence, Gabriel Oprea, will participate in the ceremony celebrating Romania's Independence Day, the Victory Day and Europe Day, organized at the Memorial of Romanian soldiers killed on duty, starting 10.00 hrs., on Monday, May 9.

On the same day, military and religious ceremonies will be organized at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Memorial of WW2 Heroes.

Wreath-laying ceremonies will be organized at Memorials in cities across the country and towns having military units, with the participation of military men, reserve and retired military personnel, war veterans, representatives of local authorities.
