The Minister of National Defence, Mr. Gabriel Oprea and the chief of General Staff, Major General Stefan Danila, will be present at the funerals of 2nd Lieutenant (posthumos) Catalin-Ionel Marinescu, who was killed in action while carrying out his mission in Afghanistan. The funerals are to be held in Craiova, on May 14.

Hero Catalin-Ionel Marinescu is laid in the chapel of the Church 'Postelnicul Fir', where the religious service will be held starting 02.00 p.m. on Saturday. He will be buried in Ungureni Cemetery.
