Military ceremonies were organized in Bucharest on Thursday, May 19, to welcome ANA Training XV and the National Support Element upon their return from Afghanistan.

In his message to the troops of the two detachments, the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Gabriel Oprea, congratulated and thanked them for the exemplary way they accomplished their mission.

'I am aware that the wide range of missions you conducted within ISAF operation engaged each and every one you to your fullest. I wish to assure you of my respect for the efforts you made and the actions you conducted' minister Gabriel Oprea said.

The minister continued: 'It is a good opportunity today, when you are present at the Solemn Appeal, to reaffirm our pride in your achievements. You made use of everything you learned, you worked hard, conscientiously, you overcame communication barriers, and proved pedagogical abilities as well as lots of patience and diplomacy ' minister Oprea highlighted.

The minister went on saying: 'It is time for you to enjoy being with your families again, the dear ones that offered their support from home. After a while you will resume training only to make the most of the lessons learned. I wish you lots of success, personal and professional accomplishments, good health and joy among your loved ones. I wish you Welcome home!'

The military and religious ceremonies organized on this occasion were attended by the troops’ families and colleagues, by representatives of military leadership.
