The Ministry of National Defence, the Prefecture of Bucharest and the Mayor`s Office organize a public ceremony dedicated to the National Flag Day, in Tricolorului Square, in front of the Palace of the National Military Club in Bucharest, on Sunday, June 26.

The flag will be hoisted while the Romanian Anthem is played.

Representatives of civil, military and religious institutions, foreign defence attachees accredited to Bucharest, war veterans, retired and reserve military personnel are invited to participate in the event.

Military men across the country would have the opportunity to participate in the public ceremonies organized for the National Flag Day by local authorities in their respective locations. Large units and commands will organize activities evoking the history of the Romanian National Flag.

The National Flag Day was established by Law No. 96/1998, to be held annually on June 26.
