The Minister of National Defence, Gabriel Oprea, will participate on Friday, July 29 starting 10.00 hrs., in the military ceremony dedicated to the Day of the National Anthem, organized in the Tricolorului Square in Bucharest, in front of the Palace of the National Military Club.

The ceremony is organized by the Ministry of National Defence together with the Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs, Bucharest Prefect’s Office and the Mayor’s Office. Representatives of different civil and military institutions were invited to attend the event alongside foreign military attachees, war veterans, retired and reserve military personnel.

Military personnel in garrisons across the country will participate in the ceremonies dedicated to the Day of the National Anthem that are organized in cooperation with the local public authorities.

The Day of the National Anthem was established by Law No. 99/1998 to be celebrated every year on July 29.
