The Minister of National Defence Gabriel Oprea approved on Friday, February 17, the humanitarian transportation of a person with a C-27J Spartan aircraft, from Cluj-Napoca Bucharest.
The patient, a 23 years old man, will be assisted medically by a SMURD team during the flight. The mission takes place following the request of dr. Raed Arafat, undersecretary in the Ministry of Healthcare.
Commander of the C-27J Spartan crew, from the 90th Airlift Flotilla, is Lieutenant Commander Emil Tecuceanu. The aircraft took off from Otopeni heading to Cluj-Napoca, yesterday at 11.20.
