The Information and Public Relations Directorate in the Ministry of National Defence organizes, with the support of the Land Forces Staff, the 9th edition of the 'Course for Journalists Reporting from Conflict Areas', from 25 to 29 June 2012.

The course will take place in Focsani garrison and will aproach, in practice and theory, topics such as: journalists` accreditation and working procedures during military operations, safety and protection rules in conflict areas, operational security, risk assessement of a theater of operations, first aid measures. The course attendants will be offered the opportunity to see combat equipment and weapon systems of units deployed in theaters of operations, survival techniques, shooting demonstrations with Infantry armament, CBRN protection, conducting an operation in a conflict area.

In order to ensure an intensive and efficient training, the number of participants - editors, cameramen and photo reporters - is limited to 14.
