Floarea Serban has taken over the office as State Secretary for Armaments during a ceremony organized at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters attended by the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Corneliu Dobritoiu on Thursday, 17 May.

At the investiture ceremony, state secretary Floarea Serban declared she is familiar with the activity of the Ministry of National Defence and, together with the department staff, will strive to find the appropriate solutions to the challenges posed by the defence procurement programs.

Floarea Serban is a retired general and her appointment as State Secretary for Armaments in the Ministry of National Defence was made by Prime Minister`s Decision No. 185 of 15 May 2012.
