By order of the minister of national defence, Colonel Radut Marian Bilbiie was appointed director of the Information and Public Relations Directorate (IPRD), on Wednesday, 23 May.

The new director of IPRD is a university lecturer, has a doctor`s degree in philological sciences and an experience of over 20 years in the field of Public Relations and journalism. Among the positions he held previously are was editor-in-chief of the Military Radio editorial office and director of the Military Media Trust of the Ministry of National Defence.

Colonel Bilbiie took over the office of IPRD director from Fleet Rear Admiral Tiberiu Fratila, who was assigned deputy chief of the Defence Industry and Special Production Directorate in the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment.
