The president of the National Association of WarVeterans (ANVR), General (retired) Marin Dragnea, reached the venerable age of 89 today, 30 May.

The State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and Personnel Welfare, Dan Tataru, that coordinates the structures responsible for war veterans, invalids and widows, represented the Ministry of National Defence at the anniversary organized in the central location of ANVR.

State Secretary Tataru wished the distinguished war veteran good health, a long life and happy birthday! He assured the ANVR members attending the ceremony that he would support war veterans, invalids and widows to find a solution to their problems, as much as his responsibilities allowed him.
