The chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Stefan Danila, met with his Bulgarian counterpart, General Simeon Simeonov, in Plovdiv, as part of his official visit in Bulgaria, on 14 and 15 June.
During the talks, the two military officials approached topics such as armed forces trnasformation and the military implications of the decisions taken at Chicago NATO Summit.
The two military leaders also discussed continuing and furthering the two countries' military cooperation, with emphasis on common military exercises.
