The Military Technical Academy and the Polytechnical University of Bucharest organize the 9th edition of the International Conference 'COMMUNICATIONS 2012'. The event takes place in Bucharest, under the aegis of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers-the Romanian section, and the Academy of Technical Sciences of Romania, at the Palace of the National Military Club, on 21-23 June.

This year`s scientific event, 'COMMUNICATIONS 2012' is organized in 19 sections and will bring together an important group of civil and military university professors and specialists from research institutes and commercial companies from 19 countries and five continents.

During the activity, today`s topics of interest in the fields of electronics and communications will be covered by the 89 papers that will be presented. Professors from l'Universite de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO) will organize a special session under the name 'Blind Identification Methods for Military Communications and Cognitive Radio Applications', while specialists from German Aerospace Center will present their results in a special session entitled 'Methods for Modeling and Analyzing Very High Resolution SAR Images'.

The papers will be published in the data base of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers with Xplore and Proceedings indexed under ISI.
