Sebastian Huluban, State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning of the Ministry of National Defence, participated in the ceremony organized at divers' memorial in Constanta on Thursday, 5 July, to commemorate the military divers, who died during a training mission on Tuzla airfield in 2010.
'The tragedy of Tuzla showed once more that the military divers' work, your work, is special, dangerous, reserved to only the most courageous ones.
The tragic and sudden departure of the military men fallen on duty is painful and difficult to accept, for everybody who knew and appreciated them. The Ministry of National Defence honors their memory and is by the side of the grieving families', State Secretary Sebastian Huluban said.
The families of the decesed military men killed in the aviation tragedy, former colleagues, the fleet commander, Rear Admiral of the Fleet, Alexandru Mirsu, representatives of the local authorities were present at the ceremony.
