The Romanian troops deployed at Lagman Base in Afghanistan send their wishes of good luck and best chances of winning as many medals as possible, to all Romanian sportsmen participating in the Summer Olympic Games in London.

The Romanian troops deployed at Lagman Base are part of Combined Team Zabul that coordinates all Romanian detachments across Zabul region. They come mainly from the 2nd "Sarmizegetusa" Mountain Brigade.
