The ceremony dedicated to the Day of the National Anthem is organized at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, from 10.00, on Sunday, 29 July.

The ceremony is organized by the Ministry of National Defence (MoND) together with the Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs (MAIA), the Prefect`s Office and the Mayor`s Office. Invited to the ceremony were representatives of civilian and military institutions, war veterans, reserve and retired military personnel.

Troops in the other garrisons in the country will participate in the public ceremonies dedicated to the Day of the National Anthem, organized in cooperation with the local authorities.

The Day of the National Anthem was established by Law No. 99/1998 to be celebrated annually, on July 29.
