The Minister of National Defence, Corneliu Dobritoiu, will participate in the events organized at Constanta on Wednesday, 15 August, in celebration of the 'Day of the Romanian Naval Forces'.

The flag will be hoisted on the promenade in front of the Fleet Command at 10.00, the ships will be fully dressed, anchors made of flowers will be thrown at sea while Navy troops will conduct drills.

From 10.00 to 12.00, the celebration of the Day of the Romanian Naval Forces will begin with the flag hoisting ceremony in Herastrau Park, where anchors made of flowers will be thrown on the lake, the God of the sea, Poseidon, will arrive and seamen`s games will be organized in the end.
