Romanian Minister of Defense Corneliu Dobritoiu and U.S. Ambassador Mark Gitenstein will participate in a ground breaking ceremony at the Romanian Land Forces Combat Training Center in Cincu to celebrate the beginning of a construction project.

The program sponsored by the U.S. Office of Defense Cooperation consists in upgrading infrastructure at the base and providing combined arms training capabilities for the units participating in the theaters of operations.

While in Cincu, Minister Dobritoiu, Lieutenant General Ioan Sorin and Ambassador Gitenstein will also participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the renovation of Cincu medical clinic with funds from the European Command Humanitarian Assistance program.
