The Minister of National Defence, Corneliu Dobritoiu, will participate on Thursday, 20 September, from 9.45, in the Distinguished Visitors` Day of Exercise Blonde Avalanche 2012, organized at Varsatura fire range, Braila County.

Over 200 troops from Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine and Hungary take part in this multinational exercise, in Braila County, from 17 to 21 September.

The goal of exercise Blonde Avalanche 2012 is to train personnel of 'TISA' Multinational Engineer Battalion for specific missions such as containing and removing the effects of natural disasters. Military observers from China, Moldova, Serbia and the USA will be present at the exercise.
