On Thursday, 27 September, at 9.00, the Military Technical Academy will host the scientific seminar entitled 'The role and place of the defence industry in the current context of Romania`s development'.

The event has been organized by the Department for Armaments, through the Military Technical Academy, the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment and ROMARM National Company, with the support of the Romanian Society for Pyrotechnics and Detonics.

Military and civilian specialists will discuss new ways of collaboration between the Ministry of National Defence and the defence industry companies, this being the procurement process` main pawn of the defense, public order and national security system. Also, topics referring to our specialists` training and their participation in the scientific research programs will be approached and considered opportunities offered by the higher military educational system to the defence industry.

The State Secretary for Armaments, Floarea Serban, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment management, civilian and military personalities, specialists of the defense, public order and national security system, representatives and leaders of the national defence syndicates will be attending the seminar.
