"Carol I" National Defence University will host on Friday, 28 September, from 09.00, the symposium entitled "The protection of the critical infrastructure in the alimentation and water sectors. The cooperation among the public sector, the business environment and the civilian society".

The event, organized by the Academy of the Romanian Scientists, with the help of the National Board for Alimentary Safety and Strategy, together with "Carol I" National Defence University, has the purpose to contribute to a deeper understanding of the critical infrastructure protection concept as well as to the scientific substantiation of the options and decisions specific to the alimentation and water sectors, in order to achieve a long-lasting development of our society.

The symposium brings together specialists that will emphasize, through their exchange of opinions and experience, the necessity to initiate and develop at national level the cooperation among the owners, administrators and/or the operators of the critical infrastructure, the Government and the society in order to implement an efficient risk management and have an adequate response in case of disturbance and damage of the critical infrastructure.
