State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning, Sebastian Huluban, met on Tuesday, October 9, with Mr. Araz Azimov, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting had a comprehensive agenda with topics of mutual interest on bilateral international cooperation, the evolution of the security and regional environment (the Caspian S ea and the Black Sea), on the cooperation in NATO formats.

Both parties agreed that there is potential for the development of cooperation based on the Strategic Partnership closed between the two countries in 2009 and that the security and defence dimension of the Action Plan should be enhanced, especially in the field of training and instruction.
