The State Secretary for Parliamentary Liaison, Public Information and Personnel Welfare Dan Tataru participated on Wednesday, 10 October, in the Memorial Ceremony of the Holocaust Victims from Romania.

The event organized by 'Elie Wiesel' Romanian National Institute for the Holocaust Study on the occasion of National Day of the Holocaust Victims` Commemoration was attended by high officials of the Presidency and Parliament, ministers, the mayor of the capital city, ambassadors accredited to Bucharest and representatives of the Jewish communities` associations in Romania and Israel.

During the ceremony, the participants made allocutions to emphasize the importance of the courage, dignity and human solidarity in the dark moments of the recent history and laid wreaths to the Memorial of the Holocaust Victims from Romania inaugurated three years ago on Independentei Road from Bucharest.
