A military delegation of the defence ministry headed by the head of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Stefan Danila, will participate in the EU Military Committee meeting taking place in Brussels, Belgium, on Wednesday, 31 October.

The agenda includes talks on the priorities of the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) and the progress in improving the European External Action service, developing capabilities and EU-led missions and operations.

On the same day, the chief of General Staff will meet with Deputy SACEUR, General Sir Richard Shirreff, to discuss, among other things, our country`s participation in the theaters of operations and the transformation of the Romanian military.
