Lieutenant General Stefan Danila, chief of General Staff, received Colonel General Henadii Petrovici Vorobiov, commander of the Land Forces of the Republic of Ukraine.

The main topics of discussion on the agenda were strengthening bilateral cooperation of the Land Forces of Romania and Ukraine with the possibility of furthering it for the other two services and continuing the participation of the two countries in the regional initiative 'Multinational Engineer Battalion TISA'.

The two officials voiced their belief in the fact that strengthening military cooperation relations contributes to the consolidation of the relations between Romania and Ukraine and regional security.

The commander of the Land Forces of the Republic of Ukraine, Colonel General Henadii Petrovici Vorobiov, visited Romania at the invitation of Lieutenant General Sorin Ioan, chief of the Land Forces Staff.
