The deputy chief of General Staff for operations and training, Lieutenant Valeriu Nicut, met with Major General Frank D. Turner, Commanding General United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC), who is on an official visit in Romania, on Friday, 9 November.

The two officials talked of the security assistance offered the Romanian military by the US Government and identifying ways of improving it.

The US military delegation led by Major General Frank D. Turner will have bilateral meetings at the Department for Armaments and at the level of military services.
