State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and Personnel Welfare, Dan Tataru, participated in the unveiling of the monument raised in honor of hero Emil Rebreanu, in Palanca locality, Bacau County.

State Secretary Dan Tataru offered honorary diplomas to war veterans, local officials and representatives of the civil society.

State Secretary Tataru expressed his gratitude to our heroes from the two world wars and theaters of operations. 'It is our duty to commemorate the bravery of our heroes and to look with responsibility to the future missions of the Romanian Armed Forces', Dan Tataru said.

After the wreath-laying ceremony at the monument, the guard of honor of Bacau garrison saluted the attendants.
Beside the numerous public, the ceremony was attended by active, reserve and retired military personnel, war veterans and representatives of local public authorities.
