A military detachment and a DAC 665T truck intervened to free an ambulance from snow, near Pogana locality, Vaslui County, at 10.30, on Tuesday, 8 January.

The 19 troops of the 52nd Mixed Artillery Regiment of Barlad will come to the aid of the ambulance by taking over a patient with serious health problems, from Cristesti locality, Puiesti Township.

Along the route, the troops will free from snow other vehicles as well, that were blocked by the massive snowfall.

The mission is carried out at the request of ISU (Inspectorate for Emergency Situations) Vaslui.

The specialized structure of the General Staff stays alert as to the weather conditions, coordinating the measures taken so that forces and vehicles of the Ministry of National Defence should be prepared to intervene in support of the population affected by the heavy winter conditions.
