The 24th series of courses at National Defence College opened at 'Carol I' National Defence University, on Monday, 24 January.

State Secretary for Defence Policy, Sebastian Huluban, sent students the message that it takes a lot of individual effort, research and study to grasp the full meaning of defence issues as 'we witness drastic cuts of defence budgets at the level of the entire European continent, which requires advanced knowledge of the Euro-Atlantic defence system'.

The courses address military and civilian specialists who hold or are going to hold high leading positions. The courses will cover theory and practical aspects of today`s topics of national and international security. Commander of National Defence College is Brigadier General Nelu Adam Barla.
