Vasile Costea succeeds Dan Tataru as State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and Personnel Welfare from his predecessor as of Monday, 28 January.
Aged 40, Vasile Costea took his Bachelor's degrees in Law and Political Sciences at Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca. He took his Master's degrees in Business Law and Promoting Security through International Relations at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu.
Vasile Costea held the position of magistrate until 2005, when he became a lawyer and was called to the Bar of Mures. From 2003 to he was Assistant Professor with the Criminal Law Department of 'Petru Maior' University of Targu Mures.
