The State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning, Sebastian Huluban, met with H.E. Philippe Gustin, French Ambassador to Bucharest, on Monday, 28 January. The two officials talked of the last developments in Sahel region and the dynamics of the security context in Mali.
State Secretary Huluban stated: "We appreciate that an EU contribution, under the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) aegis in support of this country would stimulate the stabilization process and would add value to the considerable efforts made by France within Operation Serval".
