The deputy chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Dan Ghica-Radu, met with his Slovak counterpart, Major General Miroslav Kocian, on Thursday, 31 January.
The two officials reviewed the state of the bilateral cooperation plans, national contributions to NATO and EU-led missions and operation, the participation of the two countries to the development of NATO and EU capabilities, as well as issues concerning the transformation processes of their respective armed forces.
The Slovak official's visit program included the Land Forces Combat Training Center of Cincu, the Communications and IT Training Center of Sibiu, as well as other units in the area.
