The State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning, Sebastian Huluban, met with State Secretary Eirik Øwre Thorshaug, on Wednesday, 6 February, during his official visit in the Kingdom of Norway.

The agenda of the talks included missile defence, NATO and the two counties’ strategy for Afghanistan post 2014, bilateral relations, Norwegian experience and lessons learned from the European Participating Air Forces.

State Secretary Huluban expressed his satisfaction as to the present state and the development perspectives of the bilateral military relations between the two countries.

Dr. Sebastian Huluban lectured at the Institute for Defence Studies on the Romanian defence policy after the Chicago Summit, focusing on the strategic importance and the significant geopolitical role of the extended Black Sea region.
