The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, ordered that a C-27 J Spartan aircraft of the Romanian Air Force carry out a humanitarian mission, on Thursday, 7 February, to save the life of a child who suffered severe burns.

The patient will be transported from Oradea to Bucharest under the assistance of a SMURD team as well as a military medical one.

The intervention took place in response to the requirement of State Secretary Raed Arafat of the Ministry of Health.
The crew of the aircraft that belongs to the 90th Airlift Flotilla consists of Captain-Commander Ion Staiculescu, Captain Alexandra Cramar and WOs Maftei THebrean si Gabriel Stancu.
