The Annual Report of the Department for Parliament Liaison and Public Information took place on Friday, 22 February, in the presence of State Secretaries Vasile Costea and Floarea Serban, the Secretary General of the MoND, Codrin-Dumitru Munteanu and the deputy chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Dan Ghica-Radu.

The audience was informed on the department areas of responsibility, the implementation of human resources policies, the activities of the subordinated structures and the main goals for 2013.

It was also very important that this team, military and civilian alike, is so dedicated to the institution', the State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and Personnel Welfare, Vasile Costea, declared.

This year, the Department for Parliament Liaison and Public Information aims at managing the image of the Ministry of National Defence by means of an ongoing, objective and transparent flow of information, improving defence related legislation and developing partnerships with other state institutions and NGOs for the improvement of social related issues of active, reserve or retired military personnel.
