The Minister of National Defence thanked Ana Maria Branza for her efforts and said that such a medal is a reason of pride both for herself and for all Romanians.

'Ana Maria showed the whole world what performance means. Work and perseverance are attributes on which the outstanding results our sportsmen obtain in international or domestic competitions are based. Once more, we proved, if ever needed to, we have sportsmen of value', minister Mircea Dusa said.

Also, the Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, thanked the coaches and technical staff whose efforts resulted in Romania’s presence on the podium once more.
