A Puma Socat Helicopter of the 95 Air Flotilla of the Romanian Armed Forces crashed, on March 7, around 16.00, nearby Beresti-Bistrita locality, Bacau County, while flying in formation.

The Minister of National Defence and the Chief of General Staff, together with specialists of the Air Forces Staff are heading towards the spot where the event occurred.

Information referring to the crew members` condition will be released as soon as available.
