The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, and the chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Stefan Danila, made a documentation visit at 'Henri Coanda' Air Force Academy of Brasov, Thursday, 14 March.

The two officials and the chief of Air Force Staff, Lieutenant General Carnu Fanica, met with the members of the Academy Senate and students.

During the meeting, the defence minister said he was impressed to see the large number of young people who follow a military career. Mircea Dusa emphasized that steps are taken at ministry level to make the military a body of professional people through a competitive and performance-based process. 'In this respect, the schooling plan of the Air Force Academy took into account the goals and missions of the Romanian Armed Forces. I am proud that the military education system generates more and more highly educated young people', minister Dusa concluded.

That same day, the defence minister and the chief of General Staff met with the staff of the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies (DRESMARA).
